MEET MANI
The hands behind every Crowned Mani crown — one set, one story at a time.

Studio, 2025.
Hi — and welcome. If you're here, you're part of the story now.
HOW CROWNED MANI BEGAN
Crowned Mani didn't start in a boardroom. It started at a kitchen table, with a set of press-on nails that — like so many before them — were never designed with us in mind.
I was tired of shades that ignored my skin, and of designs that flattened our culture into a passing trend. So I started making my own. One set at a time, by hand, pulling from the African heritage that has always made us magnificent.
What began as a personal fix became a quiet promise: every set I make would carry the kind of care and intention I couldn't find anywhere else.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
Every Crowned Mani design is original, hand-painted art. Made to order, never mass-produced — because intention can't be rushed.
When you slip on a set, you're not just wearing nails. You're wearing a piece of who we are — patterns from Adinkra, palettes from heritage textiles, shapes drawn from the women who carried us here.
Every crown is hand-painted. Intention can't be rushed.
WHY HANDMADE
Press-ons changed when factories took over — same shapes, same shades, same story. We slowed it down again.
Each set takes hours of careful brushwork — painted, sealed, shaped, and inspected by hand before it ever reaches you. That's why production is 3–4 business days, not 30 seconds. Slower on purpose. Better on purpose.
WHAT'S NEXT
More designs from our heritage. New shapes. New collections. And a community of women who carry each other.
This was always about more than beauty. It's representation you can wear — a reminder that you were always meant to wear a crown.
