Welcome to Crowned Mani. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website crownedmani.com and any related content, products, and services we provide (together, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who We Are

Crowned Mani is a handmade press-on nail brand based in the United States. We design, hand-paint, and ship made-to-order press-on nail sets and accessories.

"We," "us," and "our" refer to Crowned Mani. "You" and "your" refer to the person using the Services or placing an order. Together, we are the "parties."

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to use the Services or place an order. If you are under 18, you may only use the Services with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

By using the Services, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.

3. Account Registration and Security

You may browse our store without creating an account, but some features require registration. When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information;
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access;
  • Promptly notify us at support@crownedmani.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account;
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.

4. Electronic Communications and Consent

By placing an order or creating an account, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including order confirmations, shipping updates, customer service messages, and (where you opt in) marketing emails or text messages. You agree that all notices, agreements, and disclosures we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that those communications be in writing.

5. Products, Pricing, and Availability

All products are subject to availability and may be discontinued or modified at any time without notice. Prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD) and exclude applicable taxes, duties, or shipping fees unless otherwise stated.

We make every effort to display product details, colors, and finishes accurately. However, the actual appearance of nails may vary slightly due to monitor settings, lighting, and the handcrafted nature of every set. Such variation is not a defect.

We reserve the right to correct pricing or product errors, refuse or cancel any order, and limit quantities at our discretion — even after an order has been confirmed.

6. Handmade, Made-to-Order Acknowledgment

Crowned Mani sets are handmade-to-order. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept:

  • Slight variations in shape, color saturation, finish, and design placement are normal and inherent to handcrafted artistry;
  • Sets are not mass-produced and minor inconsistencies between sets of the same design are expected;
  • Production requires additional time compared to mass-produced nails (see Shipping Policy).

7. Orders and Order Confirmation

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. Your order is not confirmed until we send an order confirmation email. We may cancel an order if payment is declined, the product is unavailable, or we suspect fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

8. Production and Shipping

The typical timeline after order placement is:

  • Processing: 1–2 business days
  • Production (hand-painting): 3–4 business days
  • Shipping: 7–10 business days (USA only)

Total estimated delivery is 11–16 business days from order date. Once your order ships, we email a tracking link. Crowned Mani is not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, weather, holidays, customs (where applicable), or any event beyond our reasonable control. Full details: Shipping Policy.

9. Cancellations and Modifications

Because every set is made to order, you may cancel or modify an order only within one (1) hour of placing it. After that window, your order enters production and cannot be changed or canceled. See our Cancellation Policy for details on requesting a change.

10. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at support@crownedmani.com within thirty (30) days of delivery with photographs of the issue. We will offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.

For hygiene reasons, worn or used sets are not eligible for return or refund. We do not accept change-of-mind returns on custom or made-to-order items. Full details: Refund Policy.

11. Promotions, Discount Codes, and Gift Cards

Promotional codes and discounts have terms specific to each promotion. Unless otherwise stated:

  • Codes cannot be combined with other offers;
  • Codes have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash;
  • Codes may expire or be revoked at our discretion;
  • Gift cards, where offered, are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law.

12. SMS and Email Marketing

If you opt in to receive marketing messages from Crowned Mani, you consent to receive recurring marketing communications via email or text message at the contact information you provide. Message and data rates may apply. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email or replying STOP to any text message.

13. Customer Reviews and User-Generated Content

If you submit a review, photograph, video, comment, or other content related to Crowned Mani (collectively, "User Content"), you grant Crowned Mani a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display that content for marketing, promotional, and editorial purposes, including on our website, social media, packaging, and advertising. You represent that the User Content is your original work and does not infringe any third-party rights.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services — including text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, designs, artwork, audio, video, and software — is the property of Crowned Mani or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, display, publish, sell, license, or create derivative works from any part of the Services without our prior written permission.

15. Trademarks

"Crowned Mani," our logo, and all related product and design names are trademarks of Crowned Mani. All other trademarks displayed on the Services are the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants you any license or right to use any trademark without our prior written consent.

16. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right;
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the Services for commercial purposes without permission;
  • Interfere with the security or operation of the Services;
  • Transmit viruses, malicious code, or any content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Use the Services to advertise, solicit, or compete with Crowned Mani.

17. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content not owned or controlled by Crowned Mani (for example, Instagram, payment processors, or shipping carriers). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services, and your use of them is at your own risk.

18. Privacy

Your privacy matters. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

19. Disclaimers

The Services and all products are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crowned Mani disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of viruses. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information on the Services.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crowned Mani, its officers, employees, contractors, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services or any product purchased from us, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event will our total liability to you for any claim related to your purchase or use of the Services exceed the amount you actually paid to Crowned Mani for the product giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

21. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Crowned Mani and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, agents, suppliers, and licensors from and against any claim, loss, damage, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (d) any User Content you submit.

22. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Most concerns can be resolved by emailing support@crownedmani.com. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within thirty (30) days, you and Crowned Mani agree to resolve all disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court.

Class Action Waiver. You and Crowned Mani agree to bring any dispute in an individual capacity only and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of representative proceeding.

23. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Subject to the arbitration agreement above, you agree that any action arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

24. International Use

Crowned Mani currently ships within the United States only. The Services are operated from the United States, and we make no representation that the Services or any product is appropriate or available in other jurisdictions. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

25. Force Majeure

Crowned Mani is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, fire, flood, pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, labor disputes, supply shortages, carrier delays, or failures of internet or telecommunications infrastructure.

26. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, for any reason — including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and governing law) will survive.

27. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.

28. Entire Agreement and Assignment

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Crowned Mani regarding the Services. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms at our discretion.

29. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by posting a notice on our website or by email. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
